animal noises for the last person to be alone

The stone has one thought before it dies

and that thought
turns it
to stone

(The trick is to lose every child

Or is it
each

I love this poem; I love how it has a disjointed vibe as a stream of consciousness piece. My favorite lines were these:

    “and that thought
    turns it
    to stone”

Reminds me of Medusa a little bit. Such an excellent write, I’m loving the structure of it and word-play.
